Just days after Sony announced its price cut for its PlayStation 3 consoles ? now $399 (for a new 40GB version, all figures Canadian) and $499 (80GB version) ? Xbox Canada also revealed a new "family friendly" console for only $299.99 (pictured, below right), which is $100 less than the Xbox 360 Pro bundle and $200 less than the Xbox Elite.
