Starwatch Consumer: Airfare increases, Miracle-Gro recall

The average U.S. airfare increased 4 percent during the fourth quarter, federal data show, but it was still 2.7 percent cheaper than tickets purchased during the same period of 2000. The average domestic fare, round trip or one way, reached $331 during the final quarter of 2007.
